Glen Abbey Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1976, is one of Canada's most famous golf courses and is home to the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.  In 2000, Tiger Woods hit the shot of the year out of a fairway bunker on the 72nd hole of the Canadian Open to win by a single stroke.
